Spinner and skeleton
The spinner is announced by its label. A skeleton stands in for what’s loading at its size, set in CSS; it’s hidden from assistive technology, so mark the region it’s in aria-busy.
Empty state
Every item is up to date.
What a list or page shows when it’s empty or there’s nothing to do. Say so in one line, the same as a CLI does.
Toast
Put one gw-toaster on the page and call show(message, tone). Each toast is announced politely and leaves after duration milliseconds. Toasts are for something new that needs the person, not for routine success.
